Generator Hookup Instant Price

Answer a few quick questions and see your estimated price to connect a portable generator to your home with an interlock and outdoor inlet. No scheduling or payment needed.

Step 1 of 8

What plug does your generator have for whole-home power?

Look at the largest outlet on your generator. Not sure is OK, we’ll price a 30A hookup and confirm at the site visit.

How far is your panel from where the generator inlet should go?

The inlet box goes on an outside wall where you’ll run the generator. The first 10 ft are included.

Do you need a 25 ft generator cord?
What brand is your electrical panel?

The brand is usually printed on the panel door or the label inside. The interlock has to match your panel.

Do you have solar?

This doesn’t change the price; it helps us plan the hookup.

Do you want a permit pulled?
